My name is Serrita and my life has been a long journey and it has brought me to this. It is all Good. Bless God.

Think About It

Who or what are we idolizing?  I am asking this question because we can sometimes idolize the wrong thing/person.

I would suggest to all of us to look carefully at what has taken first place in our lives. If it is a person exam them carefully and ask if what they have permanent/temporary. If is a thing how long will it last.

Let me offer you something that is permanent that is peace of heart. Don’t wait for that last minute and you realized that you have made the wrong choices. You have idolized all the wrong things/people.

Contrary to what people have shown you and what you have read, eternity is permanent. Reference the right person. Think about it ETERNITY.

 Luke 13:23-31 NIV

23 Someone asked him,” Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?” He said to them, 24“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. 25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, “Sir, open the door for us.” But he will answer, “don’t know you or where you come from,”26 “then you say, “We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.” 27“But he will reply, “I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!” 28 There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out.  29 People will come from the east and west and north and the south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. 30 indeed there are those who are last who be first, and first who will be last.”

  Enjoy your journey

The Light House

Just some insight into why I chose the “Lighthouse” as an image. We all struggle with decisions, problems and all kinds of concerns and we normally think I do not know what to do in this situation. We struggle with our thinking trying to reason things out.  Proverbs 3:3-5 states “Lean not to your understanding but in all our ways acknowledge God  and He shall direct our path.”  There are some issues in our lives that should be left to God.

Remember , David said, “Yea though I walk through the valley of the  shadow of death I shall fear no evil for thou are with me.” (Ps. 23) David who had a lot of issues knew that there was a light at the end. As a Matter of fact, the light was guiding him in the dark shadows.

The light is always there !  Go through your journey. I am going through mine!
