A New Year

Closing of another year! For many this year has been stressful with financial worries, health concerns and the world has been and still is in turmoil. Like so many others, I am hoping for better New Year.

If this year was challenging for those of the faith, I can imagine what it was like for those that are not.

My purpose today is to encourage those of the faith and encourage those that are not to join us.

As I when went through this year with all of my issues, I was reminded that the Word of God states:  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory; 2 Corinthians 4:17. What this says to me is that my troubles will only last a moment.  They will pass, probably not as soon as I would like, but at God’s appointed time. While we go through our trails and tribulations, the Bible tells us that we should count it all joy, because what this is doing for us is that our faith is being tried and the trying of our faith worketh patience and we should allow patience to have her perfect work, that we may be prefect and entire wanting for nothing. (James 1: 1-2) Therefore, every issue that God has allowed, yes this includes the ones that we caused, be patient God will prefect those things that are concerning us.

At the closing of this year, remember that God has a plan for our lives that is good and not of evil but to bring us to an expect end and a hope. We are a chosen generation, we are blessed coming in and going out. No weapon formed against us will prosper because it is our heritage as the righteous, we have the mind of Christ, we have been washed in the blood and our name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.  We do not worry neither are we anxious for anything because the God of Peace guards our hearts with a peace that surpasses all understanding because we have made our request know unto him. We are fearfully and wonderfully made and God is concerned about everything that concerns us and will deliver us. We walk by faith and not by sight!

For those who do not know Christ as their Lord and Savior then you are worried, anxious, your back is against the wall and you have no peace. I invite you to cast your cares on the Lord and invite him into your life as your Lord and Savior and allow his Love and Peace to over take you.  The scripture below is your road to salvation and eternal life.

 Romans 10:-9-10

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

May the Grace and Mercy of God keep all of us through 2012. Remember, we are royalty, blessed, chosen generation and we have the victory.  In the end, we WIN!! Praise God.

Be blessed and saved in the New Year!

Love you with the Love of Christ
