The changing of the seasons from winter, spring, summer and fall it happens every year.Just like the change of seasons in the weather there are seasonal changes in our lives. We go from winter, spring, summer and fall. It is determining what season our lives are that will help us with issues in our lives. These seasons in our lives are meant to help us to grow naturally and spiritually.
The Bible states in Ecclesiastes 3:-11 “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven
2 A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted.
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance.
5 A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing.
6 A time to search, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep, and a time to throw away.
7 A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak.
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; A time for war, and a time for peace.
9 What profit is there to the worker from that in which he toils? 10 I have seen the task which God has given the sons of men with which to occupy themselves. 11 He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.
Now that I kind of set the ground work for all the changes in our lives, have you ever wonder what season you are in? Well I have. Naturally, I have gone from infancy to my seasoned years (I prefer to call them that). For all intents and purposes I am speaking spiritually we all need to grow inwardly. Food for thought, what happens naturally in our lives has already happened in the spirit. Let’s follow these seasons, which we only see once they have appeared.
Winter, when nature takes a rest and it appears that everything is dead? Spring and nature starts to bloom, summer she is in full bloom the sun shines and the days are long and then fall arrives and everything changes again. Does this sound like your life, ok well it sounds like mine?
There are times that the seasons in my life seem to last forever. In the winter it appears that I am dormant and nothing happens and then spring starts and the buds in my life(that were planted in the fall) that were dormant starts to bloom, for lack of another word, then fall and everything around me starts changing again.
Hold on to your seasons, it is growing time. Embrace each one of them and allow them to teach you its life lessons. These seasons are meant to enhance our lives not to destroy them. How do I know, because, I have been through a few of these seasons? Some winters have been extremely long, springs slip by me, summers are to short then fall and life starts to change again. I’ve gone through seasons of illness, death, marriage and financial issues and I am still here! I am holding on because God has promised me in His word that my latter will be better than former.
Therefore, when your seasons come and if you are in one now remember the above scripture. It is all a part of life and I promise you will survive. I am still here! Trust God and not yourself.
Romans 10:9-10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
